The first-ever Mind’s Eyeland Time Retreat is launching its initial wave of hyper-limited tickets tonight on Mintable at 8pm Eastern. The series’ genesis drop features five ultra rare 1/1 Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) “minted” on the Ethereum blockchain. Ownership unlocks a 3-day-4-night Caribbean camping excursion on the island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands, complete with extensive wellness activities not easily found all in one place, let alone on top of a mountain in paradise. The retreat’s home is at Camp St. John, the zenith peak of the mountaintop property of Neptune’s Lookout (officially known as the Susannaberg Plantation Ruins). MET Retreat founder Moe Angelo first visited the island in 2018, while the island was still very much devastated from two Category 5 hurricanes that struck in 2017. He was there twice as a Tour Manager for a musician that was booked by the inspiring team at Cruz Bay Music, fell in love with the island and its people instantly, and immediately began plotting any way to return as often as possible. Enter VI Jam Fest — a collaborative creation between Moe, Christie and Andy of Cruz Bay Music, and an absolute role model of a human, Neptune’s Lookout owner Ronnie Jones.

Tommy Angelo knows pain. He has also developed an extremely powerful, and easy-to-grasp way of dealing with it. Tommy traded in his professional music career (a profession often full of pain and rejection) for a professional poker career at the age of 32. For 13 years he played poker five nights per week, and scaled and spelunked every possible peak and valley of emotion that can come with such a volatile career. Through those highs and lows — the running good and running bad — Tommy developed a system of dealing with the accompanying stress, that he coined “Tiltless,” and turned it into a system of playing and coaching that has attracted some of the strongest players in the world of poker. He has written for Poker Digest, and has now authored five books that teach poker strategy from an angle of mindfulness, and monitoring one’s emotions through meditation. Tommy will be joining the retreat virtually for his portion, and a digital copy of his most-recent book, Dailyness: How to Sustain a Daily Meditation Practice, will be unlocked with purchase.
Joaquin Antonio has countless hours and days of experience of leading yoga acroyoga, and healing arts classes at some of the biggest music and arts festivals in the U.S. After 10 years hustling as a Yoga instructor, 2020 helped him to break out and take a break. This year my intention has been to use practices for myself to nourish, balance, center and strengthen the parts of my life that I am looking at — training to be at ease while adapting and open to change. 528hz “HEALING FREQUENCIES” ADDED TO SOUNDTRACKS
Each of the animated tickets has a custom animation by moestradamus and soundtrack created by John Welton, one of the “Heartists” joining us on the island. Tones in the range of 528hz are known to many as the “Healing Tones,” and they have been used in the creation of the soundtrack for each NFT, along with recordings of the vintage singing bowls John uses to create the soundbaths that will adorn the retreat.
A NOTE ABOUT TRAVEL AND HEALTH PRECAUTIONS
Please note that the cost of travel to St. John is not included in the purchase of the tickets. To get there, fly into St. Thomas’ Cyril King Airport (STT), take a taxi to Red Hook, and catch the ferry (leaves every hour, on the hour) to St. John. The U.S. Virgin Islands require a negative COVID-19 test within five days of commencing travel, and it must be submitted through their online travel portal.
Again, the first wave of five tickets will be released at 8pm Eastern today on Mintable, and the second wave will be released next week (official date coming soon). As an added graduation bonus, all attendees that complete the retreat will unlock a second 1/1 Diploma NFT, transferred to them after the retreat.
